This story book is based on the bed-time story the author used to tell his young children before they went to sleep at night. It is about a young boy who has always wanted a drinking mug like his Grandfather. But, when he gets one he soon loses interest in it.

The Mug, who is called Claude, becomes unhappy and decides to run away. This is his adventure.

The author says originally he never got to finish the story as his young girls fell asleep so he decided it was time to share the whole journey of Claude  with other youngsters.

A delightful bedtime story that shows children how they should take care of the things they ask for and like. Otherwise they are soon lost.
