REX GREENWOOD

Rex Greenwood was a fun-loving man, father and grandfather with a wicked sense of humour.

Over the years he used the characters he portrayed alongside his creative mind to entertain people of all ages.

From an early age Rex was enthralled by the story of Dracula and was soon portraying him in both dress and manner; often being seen walking the streets of his adopted home town of Whitby, where he was known for his good works.

Rex sadly passed away in 2004.

However, he was a strong advocate for local charities, often working hard to raise funds - especially for The Cystic Fibrosis Trust.

His family have worked with author Ann Brady to reissue an updated version of his Dracula story. All proceeds from the sale of this will go to the charity in Rex's name.
