I am Valeshka Escalona, a 33-yearold illustrator based in Galicia, Spain.

My love for illustrating comes from the stories I read as a child. I loved everything about the book images but I cannot forget, of course, one of my greatest influences, Disney.

I grew up studying art as I wanted to be an artist and study Fine Arts.  For more than 10 years, I have worked in Graphic Design and illustration, creating textile patterns, illustrations of fashion collections, and logos illustrated in watercolour and digital, plus much more.

My dream, which was always to illustrate children's stories and dedicate myself to 2D and 3D animation, has finally come true. I’m living my dream!
